Beia has participated on 6-7th December 2018 at the Sixth Edition of the Smart Cities Conference held at the Faculty of Public Administration Bucharest. The main theme of this event was related to the “Development and Urban planning”.

Smart Cities Conference objectives were targeted on:

  • Raising awareness and promoting the concept of “Smart City” among stakeholders
  • Build and strengthen the capacity of these stakeholders to actively participate in national, regional and international Smart Cities developing process
  • Develop and strengthen stakeholder interest to actively participate in the process of developing intelligent cities at national and international level
  • Facilitating discussions, exchanges of experience and collaboration with many trainees on smart city issues
  • Creating links between the realities of Smart Cities at national and international level

The plenary sessions were related to:

  • Smart environment
  • Smart governance
  • Smart economy
  • Smart people & mobility
  • Smart living
  • Future trends
