CitiSim at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2019

CitiSim project consortium participated at the Smart City Expo World Congress that was held in Barcelona between 13th-15th of November 2018.
The main objectives of the congress were to empower cities and collectivize urban innovation across the globe and to create a better future for the cities and their citizens worldwide.
The essential topics of the conference were about:
- Digital Transformation
- Urban Environment
- Mobility
- Governance & Finance
- Inclusive & Sharing Cities
The event was joined by mayors and government authorities from across the globe and major global institutions.
Some of the participant promote their project and solutions at the exhibition and reaching a global audience. Snap4City for example presented a platform for Living Lab and co-working for Stakeholders, Industries & Researchers.
Sensefields company talked about their advanced mobility data solutions regarding city traffic data measurement, city traffic flow matrices, green city traffic and traffic management intelligence.
Some of the event’s partners were: CISCO, Deloitte, SAP, Microsoft, Siemens, Telekom, POLIS, ALSTOM and many others.
The event was hosted by Ayuntament de Barcelona and organized by Fira Barcelona.
CitiSim like a European project have the opportunity to share its progress and It was a good chance to meet different partners relative with Smart City World.
From CitiSim, Prodevelop, Beia and Altfactor were covering this event and all of them could improve their knowledge about Smart City State-of-Art, innovation and improvement of other projects.
