Taking advantage of the SmartCity Expo World Congress celebrated in the city of Barcelona, on 16th of November the CitiSim international consortium celebrated its annual meeting in the Catalan City. Apart from getting updated with the actual status of the project, this edition of the meeting offered the possibility to the partners to work in a one-to-one basis, sharing knowledge and experiences but with a clear focus on ways for increasing collaboration and integration among partners and impacting on the market.

Hosted by Abalia, all the partners participated this half a day edition. It involved a first part about the past and present of the consortium and the project itself, the second part with a future perspective focused on the use cases and demonstrators and a third part for improving, both as a consortium/team and as a project. It was an intensive working session with lots of good ideas and an excellent opportunity for all the partners to know the tips and tricks of the project and those aspects to improve towards the last year of the project.

This working session confirmed the fact that all the partners are committed with the success of the project, and it highlighted that the CitiSim project is becoming more ambitious and exciting day after day. As a result of the meeting, a new set of measures were defined to address those issues detected. For this reason, investing effort on the use cases, increasing dissemination and exploitation activities, mostly involving other cities within the demonstrators, as well as improving innovation and market impact are key aspects.

Thank you very much to all the partners for their commitment and collaboration on the edition of this year.
